About Zona Poe - Pemberton
Zona married Herman Melvin Highley -20 Mar 1929 and 08 Feb 1932 in Grant Co., Indiana. Zona married Edward Poe Zona Mary married Ernest Pemberton - 20 Dec 1969 in Grant Co., Indiana. Zona M. Pemberton, 84, Wesleyan Health Care Center, Marion, died on Monday in the center. Mrs. Pemberton was a life resident of the Grant County area. Mrs. Pemberton was a former employee of the Osborne Paper Co. She owned and operated Jottem Down Store and Poe's Fruit Market, both of Roseburg. She retired in 1968 from Marion Community Schools. She was a member of the Bethel Friends Church. She loved flowers, she worked in ceramics and did oil paintings. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Keith) Pyle, Marion; a stepson, Hugh, Windsor, Conn.; three grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Services were held on Thursday in Needham-Storey Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, with the Rev. William Wimmer officiating. Burial was made in Grant Memorial Park cemetery, Marion.
