About Zada Wilgus
Zada Walston Wilgus Age 102, of Bethany Beach, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD, embraced by her children. Zada was a 1922 graduate of Buckingham High School in Berlin, MD. She was a charter member of the Assembly of God Church in Selbyville since 1955. She was active in civic and church work and a member of the Chatterbox group since 1936. Her life was a testimony to her family and those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Wilgus, Jr., in 1990. She is survived by her 4 children, Donald and wife, Jane, Gerald and wife, Joan, Jane and husband, Paul McCabe, Ann and companion, Michael Remy; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 3, at 2 pm, at the Bethany Chapel of MELSON FUNERAL SERVICES, West Avenue, in Ocean View, where friends may call after 1 pm. Interment will be in Mariner's Bethel Cemetery, in Ocean View. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Assembly of God Church, 59 North Main St., Selbyville, DE 19975; or American Heart Assoc., 600 N. DuPont Hwy., Georgetown, DE 19947.
