Zachary Thomas Wilkinson

Zachary Thomas Wilkinson, our precious little man, of Buckingham, formerly of Chesterfield County, was suddenly beckoned home to rest in the arms of his Lord Jesus on Friday, September 7, 2007. He is forever loved and remembered by his mother and stepfather, Darrell and Vicki Tompkins; and his father and stepmother, Richard and Shannon Wilkinson Jr. He leaves behind three brothers, Richard Wilkinson III, Jacob Tompkins, and Nathan Cheek; and two sisters, Katelyn Wilkinson and Catie Cheek, who hold him so dear to their hearts. Zachary is also survived by many loving grandparents, John and Sheila Evans, Bob and Debra Lasseter, Edward McDaniel Sr., Roy Tompkins Sr., Richard Wilkinson Sr., Bob and Cheryl Hamilton; and by two great-grandmothers, Jean Noonan and Shirley Baugh. He will be greatly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, his very best friend, Sam Hall, and a host of other friends. While he was only given to us but for a brief time, we will cherish every single moment that God gave us with him. He brought us so much joy and blessed us with his bubbly zest for life. Zachary will be remembered by everyone for his passion for skateboarding and his desire to be the best at everything he did. He loved surrounding himself with his family and his friends, and that is why we would be honored to receive family and friends on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chippenham Chapel of Bliley's Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Road. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2007, at The Pentecostals of Richmond, 2200 Pickens Road. Interment will be held at Dale Memorial Park following the funeral services.
