About Yancy Musgrave
GOLDSBORO-- Deacon Yancy Musgrave Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Duke University Hospital. He was born to the late Yancy Musgrave, Sr. and Allena Simmons Musgrave Lee. He served as a deacon of St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ in Mount Olive, NC and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. An inspirational wake will be held at 6 pm, Friday, January 8, 2010 at St. James Church, Mount Olive, NC. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday January 9, 2010 at Deeper Life Church, Goldsboro, N.C. with Dr. Lloyd Butler officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro, N.C. Survivors include his wife, Linda McKinney Musgrave of the home; three sons, Michael McKinney (Paula) of Greensboro, N.C., Yancy "Chuck" Musgrave III of Talladega, A.L., Maurice Musgrave (Sherry), of Greensboro, N.C.; two daughters, Paulita "Angel" Musgrave and Soisette "Renee" Bell, both of Mount Olive, N.C; seven grandchildren, Keith Bowser, Jr. and Trucell Bell, Jr. of the home, Julian Musgrave of Cheraw, S.C., Ensura Flowers of Raleigh, N.C., Sherylle Musgrave of Dudley, N.C., Jordyn McKinney of Greensboro, N.C. Reginald Means III of Greensboro, N.C; one brother Jasper Musgrave (Judy) of Fayetteville, NC, five sisters, Angelene Bowden of Dudley, NC, Maryann Royall(Adolph) of Clinton, Maryland, Ida "Prettlo" Musgrave of Asbury Park, NJ., Barbara Jean King of Mount Olive, N.C., Corine Parks (James) of Salisbury, N.C; two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Professional services are entrusted to Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
