About Winston Alderson
Winston Alderson Obituary Winston Charles Alderson was born December 31, 1948, in El Dorado, AR to BJ and Vida Alderson, he was the oldest of their six children. Winston was educated in the El Dorado Public School System, graduating from Booker T. Washington High School in 1966. He was especially proud of his tenure as the Hornet quarterback. Winston attended the University of AR in Fayetteville receiving his BS/BA degree in Finance. He served briefly in the US Military, had many entrepreneurial pursuits, and retired from Lion Oil. Winston was an active member of First Baptist Church until his health failed, serving faithfully while he could. Winston transitioned peacefully on August 31, 2023, being surrounded by family and caregivers. Winston leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Willora, his son Winston II of Springdale, AR, his daughter, Amber Alderson of San Antonio, TX, brothers BJ Alderson of Minneapolis, MN(Danita), Cedrick Alderson of Fleming Island, FL(Prender), sisters Glenda Clark of Hope, AR(Abraham), Janice Alderson of Humble, TX, Erma Smith of El Dorado, AR, his grandchildren Bridgette Brown, Amar Rodgers, Zaya Rodgers, Micah King, Omari Charles Alderson and a host of relatives and friends.
