About Wade Barbee
Parents - Lee Barbee and Minnie Luncida Smith Barbee. Mr. Barbee was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Carrie Jeanette Deese Barbee, who passed away July 30, 2020; and brother, Lewis Barbee. Wade was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He retired from Collins & Aikman as a truck driver. He was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council. Wade formerly served as mayor and council member for the town of Richfield, and was also past president of the Stanly County Saddle Club.
