Vonna Lou Ella White

Vonna Lou Ella White, 83, of Mt. Gilead entered the loving embrace of the her Savior on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Embassy of Marion. On January 7, 1940 Vonna was born in Gallipolis, Ohio; the daughter of the late Henry and Augusta Gilbert in Gallipolis, Ohio. She married her beloved husband, Ronald White on January 26, 1957 in Johnsville, Ohio and they lived in Morrow County for most of their life. Vonna and Ronald were able to spend sixty-six marvelous years together. She loved her family, crocheting, cross stitching and was a member of Marion Mt. Vernon Avenue Church of Christ. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Ronald White; one daughter, Patsy (Jerry) Siegfried of Mt. Gilead; three sons: Larry (Terry) White of Nashville,OH, Bryan (Sherry) White of Marion, OH and Brad (Dawn) White of Mount Vernon, OH; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Rudelle Gilbert of Mt. Gilead; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends In addition to her parents, Vonna was preceded in death by her two brothers, Marvin and Lewis Gilbert; and six sisters: Jane, Artie, Betty, Ruth, Betty Ann and Nonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 5PM-7PM; at Snyder Funeral Homes, Craven Chapel; 67 N. Main Street Mount Gilead, OH 43338. Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11AM with Minister Jeff Bush officiating. Graveside Service will immediately follow at Worden Cemetery.
