About Vickie Richard
Mrs. Vickie Lynn Richard, age 79, and a resident of Metropolis, IL and formerly of Dixon, IL., passed away at 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2024, at her residence. She was retired from Edelmann Corp. in Dixon, IL. She was born on September 16, 1944, in Mayfield, KY, to the late Ellsworth "Rollie" and Lottie Francis Whitlock O'Neal. She married Hershel Richard on December 31, 1961, in Dublin, KY. She is survived by a daughter and her husband; two sons; one daughter-in-law; one brother; one sister; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Richard, who passed away on June 7, 1993; a daughter, Christina Lynn Meusel and a sister, June Thompson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Brown Funeral Home, in Mayfield, KY., with Rev. Joey Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery, in Hickman County, KY. Friends are invited to call from 11:00 A.M until 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Brown Funeral Home, in Mayfield.
