Of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri. She was born December 27, 1942 in Perryville to Willard and Beulah Tucker Wilson. She first married Samuel Andrew Morse. He passed away in 1980. She later married Donald Cox, Sr. on September 16, 1989 at Jackson, Missouri. He preceded her in death September 20, 2009. She attended First Pentecostal Church. Survivors include daughters, Lisa Weiler of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and Vickie Wethrill of Libby, Montana; stepdaughters, Dana (Steve) Abel of Fruitland, Missouri, Diane (Paul, Jr.) Kohm of Perryville, Denise (Ricky) Bohnert of Perryville, Dawn (Ronnie) Stewart of Columbia, Tennessee, and Darla Cox of Jackson; stepson, Donald Cox, Jr. of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Kathy Schliefer and Connie Carver of Sparta, Illinois; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her favorite dog, Frisky. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sons, Andy and Alonzo Morse; stepson, Dwayne Cox; brothers, Gary, Danny, and David Ervin; grandchildren, Ryan and C.J.; and great-grandchild, London. Ford and Sons Funeral Home.
