About Ulice Davis
Ulice Grant Davis, 77, of Georgetown, died Friday, June 3, 2005, at his residence. Graveside services will be Monday, June 6, 2005, at 11 a.m. in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Davis was born Feb. 18, 1928, in Horry County, a son of the late Zeb Vance Davis and Rosa McCormick Davis. He retired as co-owner of the former B. & M. Machine & Welding Shop. Earlier in his career he worked with his father on tugboats for the then Southern Kraft. Mr. Davis attended Winyah High School and was a member of Friendfield Presbyterian Church. He was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene Vance Davis Sr. and Jimmy Davis; three sisters, Katherine D. Moore, Alice Pearl D. Thomas, and Frances D. Richburg. Surviving are his wife, Patsy Baxley Davis of the home; a son, Tony Grant Davis of Murrells Inlet; a daughter, Deborah Davis Seigler of Pawleys Island; two grandchildren, Olivia Davis and Grant Davis; a brother, Jeff Davis of Conway; a sister, Lavonia D. Perry of Georgetown; and a number of other relatives. The Georgetown Times, June 5, 2005.
