Timothy Jon Fagundes

Timothy Jon Fagundes (62) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born on June 18, 1959, in Tracy, CA, to his parents Fernandes and Delia Fagundes. He grew up on a dairy farm, waking up early every morning to tend to it with his father and brothers. Tim attended St. Bernard's Catholic School before moving on to Tracy High School, where he played basketball, football, and baseball. After high school, he attended the University of Chico State, where he formed friendships that lasted the rest of his life. He went on to manage for United Airlines in Fresno, where the birth of his daughter (Kelly) took place in 1987. Four years later, still in Fresno, he saw the birth of his son (Ryan) in 1991. Tim, his first wife (Kathleen), and their children moved to San o 12 years at United Airlines, Tim started working for Pacific Bell. Tim then moved him and his two children to Mountain View where he started a new career as store manager at Target. It was 2005 when Tim met the love of his life Kay at a beach house in Aptos, CA. A year later, on July 15th, 2006, Tim and Kay wed cliffside in Lake Tahoe in front of their five children and a few family members. This act of marriage completed the merge of family that saw Kelly and Ryan not only find a mother, but two sisters and a brother in Kay's children: Andrea, Jillian, and Joshua. Tim moved the family to Tracy where he continued to work for Target for 15 years. As time went on Tim & Kay, together with their now adult children continued to spend their anniversary each year in Lake Tahoe where the family continued to strengthen their love and bonds over watching golf and relaxing lakefront. Tim and Kay took countless weekend getaways to places such as New Orleans, Las Vegas, and San Diego to dance, laugh, and share their connection, which most people could only wish to experience. Whether he was vacationing or hitting the golf course, still nothing could compare to his favorite thing to do which was being the best "Pa" in the world to his 5 (soon to be 6) grandchildren. Tim will be forever missed but will live on forever through the stories told by his loved ones and friends. God bless you Tim, we love you. Timothy is survived by his mother Delia Fagundes, sister Lynne Fagundes, brother Steve Fagundes, brother Bob (Terri) Fagundes, and sister Marie (Chuck) Cova. His daughter Andrea (Nathan) Fagundes, daughter Kelly (Danny) Ness, daughter Jillian Cuestas, son Ryan Fagundes, and son Joshua (Catherine) Cuestas. Lastly, he is survived by his grandchildren: Sloan, Paige, Blake, Cameron, Capri, & Audrey and his loving wife Kay Fagundes. A Rosary will be held at Fry's on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. with visitation from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 163 West Eaton Avenue, Tracy.
