About Thomas Brown
Thomas Brown Thomas Brown, aka Jap, born May 27, 1946, was called home by the Lord on April 26, 2022, at the age of 75. He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 60 years, Mary Jean Brown. They had five children together, two have gone home to be with the Lord, Angela Katrice Johnson and Margaret Louise Moore-Fertile, and three are still living, LIVING. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, his wife, children, mother, and siblings. He was born in Americus, Georgia, and grew up on a farm with his siblings. He loved playing baseball on the farm, swimming, and hunting. Not long afterwards, their family relocated to Florida where all 14 siblings grew up together in one household. One thing we all know about Thomas is that he loved his wife, mother, and family. Let's not leave out his favorite drink, Coca-Cola! He loved his cola soda and even asked for a "cola" up to his last days. Thomas was a very smart man and stubborn as a mule. He never held his tongue and would tell you how it was, even if you didn't like it. Later in life, he met his beautiful wife, Mary. They started a family together and decided to develop a family lawn business, Brown's Lawn Service, where all of his kids would go to work on the weekends with him. Soon after he left the lawn business behind and started working at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens where he later retired. He was a straightforward and hardworking man that did his best for his family. Dad, we want you to know that we love you dearly, we miss you, and you will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace JAP.
