About Theresa Baal
Youngstown- Theresa M. Baal passed gently from this life to the next before dawn on Wednesday, January 15 while being comforted by her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband John G. Baal, her parents John and Antoinette Pascarella, her four sisters, Frances, Katie, Rose, and Josephine and two brothers, Andrew and John. She is sadly missed by her son John A. (Debbie) Baal and daughter Barb (Philip) Carlon. She also leaves behind grandchildren Hallie (Philip) Allen, John R. Baal, Brooke (Brad) Vaughn, Brianne (Rob) Rush, Philip Carlon II, and Brittany Carlon and great grandchildren Zachary and Marybeth Allen and Kori Carlon. Mrs. Baal and her husband of more than sixty-three years loved dancing to the big bands and polka music. Theresa was a devoted mother and grandmother and was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She was the consummate homemaker and loved cooking and canning for her family. Her specialties were Italian dishes including wedding soup and spaghetti sauce. Theresa was a Eucharistic Minister at and a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church and was very distressed by its closing. She was most recently attending St. Christine Church. The family would like to thank the care-givers at the Omni Manor West on Vestal Road for their kindness and compassion while caring for our mother and grandmother.
