About Susan Kennedy
Susan Ann Kennedy, age 68, of Wise, Virginia, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 in a Wise, Virginia nursing home. She was born in Grundy, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Samuel C. Kennedy and Ollie Lee Kennedy. She had made her home in the area all of her life and was a former nursing assistant. She was a Richlands High School Class of 1972 graduate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Mae Keene. Survivors are: Daughter: Samantha Robinette and husband, Clay of Kingsport, TN Son: Jonathan Kennedy and wife, Courtney of Pryor, Oklahoma Grandchildren: Hannah Kennedy and Haylee Kennedy Sisters: Connie McGlothlin and husband, Charlie of Doran, Virginia Marcella Kennedy of Wise, Virginia Jennifer Lynn Kennedy of Doran, Virginia Brother: Freddie Kennedy and wife, Rhonda of Wardell, Virginia A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Services and burial will be private. Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia is in charge of arrangements and those wishing to express sympathy online may do so at www.hurstscottfuneralhomes.com.
