About Steven Boyce
Steven R. Boyce, of Tunkhannock, died Saturday in the Mercy Hospital Hospice Unit in Scranton. He was born in Sayre, Pa., on April 18, 1961, a son of Katherine Palmer Boyce, of Tunkhannock, and the late Foster Price Boyce. He was a 1979 graduate of Tunkhannock High School, attended Penn State University at University Park and graduated from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, in 1984 with a BS degree in accounting. He had been employed as a supervisor and lead re. for RCN in East Mountain, Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sheila Ball Boyce; stepdaughter Amelia Dailey, of Lake Winola; sister Cheryl B. Sands, of Tunkhannock; step-grandson David Andrew Tarbrake III, of Lake Winola; nephews Sean Sands, of Des Moines, Iowa; Eric Sands, of Lebanon, Pa. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Robert Wood, pastor of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Turner Cemetery, Grover, Pa. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Published by Times Leader on Jul. 24, 2006.
