Stephen John "Packy" Pachel (January 25, 1956-August 13, 2017) PARK RAPIDS, Minn. - Stephen John "Packy" Pachel, 61, Park Rapids, formerly Ponsford, Minn., died Sunday, Aug. 13, in his home from cancer. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids. Father Thomas Friedl will officiate. Interment will be in Linnell Cemetery near Ponsford. Arrangements by Jones-Pearson Funeral Home.
