About Stella Duris
DURIS Stella V. Stella V. Duris, 88, of Oregon, died on December 10, 2007, at Orchard Villa. She was born in Toledo on November 20, 1919, to Stanley and Jozefa (Jaroniewska) Dylewski. Stella was a homemaker throughout her life. She loved spending time with her family and her dog, Rocky. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening. Survivors include her children, Sharon (Bob) Ganson, Beverly Hart, Loreen Thompson, Ron (Pam) Duris and Gary Duris; grandchildren, Greg, Graham, Lorrie, Sherry, Michelle, Tracy, Jesse, Aaron, Angela, Allison, and 18 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Frank, in December 1996; two sisters, and one brother. Visitation will be from 3 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, with a scripture service at 4 p.m. at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 14, at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Ignatius Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Southern Care. Published in the Toledo Blade on 12/12/2007.
