About Shirley Fader
Shirley Fader Died: Thursday, March 12, 2015 Shirley Fader, was born on Dec. 7, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa and passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Wichita on March 12, 2015 at 12:05 AM due to complications of surgery. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Irene & Leroy Fader of Abilene, her sister Barbara (Fader) Brienza of Independence. She is survived by her sister Virginia (Fader) Alexander of Fair Play, Mo., and her brother Dennis Fader of Pittsburg, Calif., along with seven nieces and two nephews, with their families. Shirley moved with the family to Abilene in 1948. She worked at numerous jobs over the years, including having her own house cleaning service. She also worked at Abilene Laundry Service and the laundry departments at Abilene Community Hospital and Russell Stover candy factory. She enjoyed her vacations to California and Las Vegas. Her body was cremated & interment will be in the Abilene Cemetery. There will be a private graveside service.
