Sara Anne Wheat

Cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Sara Wheat, entered into heaven on November 21, 2022 at the age of 40 after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Sara Anne was born on December 31, 1981. She graduated with honors from College of the Ozarks in Pt. Lookout, Missouri where she met her husband, Caleb. They were married on July 12, 2003 and later blessed with seven boys and a life full of love and faith. Sara lived her life striving to be the Proverbs 31 woman. She dedicated her time to homeschooling her boys and caring for her husband. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and wife, Sara also loved camping, reading, star gazing, and singing. Throughout her entire life, Sara held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Sara now joins many family members that have gone on before her. They are rejoicing together and cheering us all on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling which is found in Christ Jesus. She is survived by her loving husband, Caleb Wheat of Joplin, Missouri; sons, Lincoln, Colton, Elijah, Nehemiah, Benjamin, Josiah, and Noah; father and mother, Jerry and Barbara Lee of Seymour, Missouri; father and mother in-law, Gary and Brenda Wheat of Joplin, Missouri; and sisters, Kristi Lee of Seymour, Missouri and Kari and Tim Sherber of Fairfield, TX. A celebration of life will be held on December 3rd at 11am at Williams Memorial Chapel located at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the funeral at 10am. In lieu of flowers, we ask that any memorial gifts be given to the Ministry of Kritsana Udomsrirat: Asian Women and Children.
