About Salvadore Pacelli
Hazleton Standard Speaker; Monday, April 22, 1996: Salvadore M. Pacelli of 209 S. Pine St., Hazleton, died Sunday at his home. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Pacelli. He lived in this area all of his life. He was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hazleton. Prior to retirement he was employed at the Hazleton Shaft Colliery. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were a brother, Alex, and a sister, Adeline Sambora. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, the former Violet Stevens; sons; a sister, Rose Lazur, Hazleton; brothers, Anthony and Girard, both of Hazleton; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Fierro Funeral Home, 26 W. Second St., Hazleton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church. Interment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
