About Ruth Mace
Mace, Ruth R., 99, longtime resident of Farmingdale passed away July 31, 2022. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late John W. Mace, Jr. Loving mother of Marilyn Mace Katzman (Steve) and the late Joanne Mace Bellows (the late Charles). Cherished grandmother of John Katzman (Lauren), Phillip Katzman (Johanna) and Christopher Bellows (Fran). Adored great-grandmother of Alexander Katzman, Alice Katzman, Lillian Katzman, Charles Katzman, Owen Bellows and Drew Bellows. Home Economics teacher for over 30 years at Farmingdale Highschool. Ruth attended K-12 at Main Street School in Farmingdale and graduated from Douglas College for Women, now part of Rutgers College. Active member of the Farmingdale United Methodist Church and their Women's Society. Past President and Life Member of the Farmingdale Women's Club, member of the Farmingdale-Bethpage Historical Society, Long Island Studies and Raynor Family Association. The family will receive visitors Saturday, August 20th, 11am to 1pm at Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Conklin Street, Farmingdale. Funeral Service Saturday, August 20th, 1pm at the funeral home. Interment following at Amityville Cemetery.
