About Roy Gable
Roy Lee Gable of Bremen passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 in a Rome Hospital. He was born in Cedartown, August 31, 1948, son of the late Allen Gable and Inez Atkins Gable. Roy was a member of Bethany Christian Church in Carrollton and was retired from a self-employed construction business. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Warren and two brothers, Howard Gable and Dub Gable. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Sue Queen Gable; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda Dawn and Mike Knight of Buchanan, Dana Michelle and Daren Goolsby of Tallapoosa; grandchildren, Emily and Michael Collett, Elise and Brett Cochren, Ethan Goolsby, Will Knight and Grayson Knight; two great grandchildren; sisters, Vera Lee Price of Easom Hill, Faye Hulsey of Cedartown and brothers, Bill and JoAnne Gable of Eason Hill, Alvis Gable of Buchanan, David and Vickie Gable of Eason Hill. Services will be Friday, November 2 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Minister Allen Howard and Mr. Jack Turner officiating. Mike Knight, Daren Goolsby, Grayson Knight, Ethan Goolsby, Brett Cochren, Micharel Collett and Will Knight will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Hightower Funeral Home Bremen, Georgia.
