Sabine Index, Many, La., Mar 9, 1978 Funeral services for Roxie Waddle, 82, of Pleasant Hill, were at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 5, in the Spring Ridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clarence Berly officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mrs. Waddle died Friday, March 3, in Pleasant Hill, after a sudden illness. She is survived by three sons, William Waddle, and Savelle Waddle Sr., of Shreveport, and Jesse Waddle of Marthaville; one daughter, Oleane Clay of Laplace; two brothers, Jesse Cole, and L. H. Cole of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. A. D. Johnson of Pleasant Hill, and Luriana Johnson of Shreveport; 12 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
