About Rose Daddona
WATERBURY—Funeral services for Mrs. Rose (Filippone) Daddona, 94, of Woodland Health Center of Waterbury, formerly of Division Street, were held Monday, February 5, at 8 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Funeral Home to St. Lucy's Church for a Mass at 9 a.m. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Mrs. Daddona, widow of Angelo Daddona, died Thursday, February 1, at Waterbury Hospital. Mrs. Daddona was born in Waterbury on January 15, 1902, a daughter of the late Carmine and Rosaria Filippone. She moved to Oakville as a child, then settled in Waterbury in 1972. She was employed at Blake & Johnson for 15 years, until retiring 32 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Anna Mobilio of Waterbury; two sons, Fred Daddona of Waterbury and Joseph Daddona of Wolcott; a brother, John Filippone of Covina, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
