About Rose Daddona
Rose (Sette) Daddona, 92 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Fred Daddona. Rose was born in Waterbury on June 1, 1924, daughter of the late John and Anna (Santopietro) Sette. Prior to her retirement, Rose was employed by the City of Waterbury Parks Department. She was a communicant of Saint Lucy’s Church and was one of the original founding members of the Holy Rosary Society. She was also the longest living member of the General Philip Sheriden Council Columbiettes. She leaves two daughters Rosanne Skrip and her husband John of Sandisfield, MA., Bernadette Jensen and her husband Peter of Unionville, her sister Ann Marie Galipault and her husband Donald of Waterbury, two grandchildren, John Skrip and his wife Zhu Lei, Todd Jensen and his wife Erin and three great grandchildren Jaden Skrip, Anthony Jensen, and Hunter Jensen. She also leaves her sister in law, Antoinette Daddona. She was predeceased by her sister Polly Sette.
