About Rogelio Cantu
Rogelio "Roger" Cantu, age 65, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. Roger was born in Sandusky on October 28, 1957 to the late Domingo and Juanita (Rodriguez) Cantu. Roger attended school in both Mercedes, Texas and Willard City Schools. He also served in the National Guard in Texas. Roger was a jack of all trades and with that knowledge he worked at a number of local companies, most notably Pioneer Balloon in Willard, Routh Packing in Sandusky and Sunrise in Attica. He loved fishing, hunting and riding his Harley motorcycle. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Melba (Garcia) Cantu; son, Ryan (Ashley) Garcia; siblings, Isabel, Rosie (Pepe) and Beatrice; sister-in-law, Peggy Cantu; mother-in-law, Maria Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Guadalupe and George Cantu; and father-in-law, Adam Garcia. Friends and family may visit on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. His memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Ricky Branham officiating.
