About Robert Quam
Robert Elton Quam was born 6 Jul 1925 in Georgetown,Clay Co. Minnesota to Lawrence Quam and Pearl Greeno. Bob spent his whole life in Georgetown where he attended school, with the exception of a short time he lived in Hastings, NE when he was working in Construction. Bob married Beverly Mae Senff on 30 Aug 1947 in Moorhead, Clay Co., MN. He worked as a carpenter and construction worker most of his working life and retired in 1983. He was injured in an accidental bad fall from a building and was permanently disabled from this injury. Bob died 26 May 1994 in Georgetown and is buried there in the town cemetery. He was 68 yrs. old when he passed. Bob was survived by his wife, Beverly; four daughters, Sandra (Wayne) Gjervold of Hallock, MN, Rebecca (Chuck) Fitzpatrick of Kemmerer, WY, Shelley (Jeff) Finney of Perley, MN, and Melanie (John) Ziegler of Georgetown; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Christ Lutheran Church Pastor Eric Daeuber officiated at the funeral.
