Robert E. Nagel

1924-2001     Age 77, of Sugar Grove passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. He was born August 20, 1924 in Wheaton, IL.     Bob was an active member of Holy Angels Church serving as an usher, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Local 400. Bob was a member and former director of the Kane Co. Farm Bureau, the Northern Farm Service and the Kane Co. FSA Board. Bob and Mary Jane belong to the Kane Co. Couples Club, two card clubs and a picnic group. Bob loved farming and his John Deere Machinery until he retired in 1998. Bob enjoyed watching and playing all sports, his first love being baseball and the Chicago Cubs.     He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary Jane (nee Diehl); four loving daughters Cindy (Bob) Strasser of Batavia, IL, Diane (Brian) Lange of Channahon, IL, Sharon (John) Whitt of Naperville, IL, Judy (Brendan) Conley of Naperville; seven grandchildren Heidi and Heather Strasser of Batavia, IL, Allison, Michael and Daniel Whitt of Naperville, IL, Aidan Conley of Naperville, IL and Jim (Ali) Lange of Chicago; two sisters Agnes Tansley and Lorraine Tansley of Wheaton, IL; one brother Art (Mary) Nagel of Sugar Grove, IL; a sister-in-law Ollie Nagel of Aurora, IL and many nieces and nephews.     He was preceded in death by his parents; Anton and Agnes (nee Kuhn) Nagel; two brothers Raymond and Erwin Nagel.     Funeral from THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY will be Saturday, December 22, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. to Holy Angels Church at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Victor Alcazar will officiate with interment at Marywood Cemetery.     Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a liturgical wake service at 4:00 p.m. at THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY, 220 N.
