About Robert Kaczor
Robert Kaczor rites Saturday Final rites were held Saturday for Robert Kaczor, 30, of Caro. who was killed May 17 when the car he was driving left the road and smashed into a tree on M-24, six miles south of Caro. Tuscola county sheriff's deputies said it appeared he fell asleep while heading home from work in Lapeer. Kaczor was a mechanic for Detroit Edison Co. and was driving a Detroit Edison truck. He was born June 27, 1941, in Mt. Clemens, the son of the late Stanley Kaczor and Mary Kaczor. He married the former Roberta Wilson April 4, 1964. They moved from Richmond to the Caro area in 1968. He is survived by his widow and six children: two daughters, Rita and Mary, and four sons, Thomas, John, Peter and James, all at home. Also surviving are one brother, Gerald, Mt.Clemens, and two sisters, Mrs.Robert Andrzejewski and Mrs. Richard Kalich, both of Utica. The services were held at St.Agatha's Church, Gagetown, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Donald Christensen, pastor, officiated. Hunter Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
