Monday 27 Aug 1951 Summary: Richard L. Oare to Sophie (Osowicki) Booth on 24 Aug 1951 ******** The Leader-Herald, Gloversville, N.Y. Monday 8 March 1965 pg 3 Richard L. Oare, 63, of 65 East Pine Street, employed for 43 years as a pressman in the commercial printing department of the William B. Collins Company, died at 7 this morning at a Utica hospital. He had been in ill health about four years. Mr. Oare was a born in Gloversville, Aug. 20, 1901, and always resided here. He attended the Gloversville public schools and was a member of the North Main Street, Methodist Church. The survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sophie Oare of Gloversville; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Gniady of Miami, Fla., Miss Colleen Oare and Mrs. Burton Reynolds of Saratoga Springs; three brothers, Roy Oare, and Alton Oare of Gloversville and Robert Oare of Johnstown; one sister, Mrs. Charles Scott of Gloversville; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. ******** The Leader-Herald, Gloverville, N. Y. Thursday 11 March 1965 Service for Richard L. Oare was held at 2 this afternoon at the Kennedy Funeral Home, Rev. Milton M. Lavery, pastor of the North Main Street Methodist Church, officiated. Bearers, were Raymond Oare, John Oare, James Oare, Kenneth Oare, Roy Oare, Jr. and Brent Scott. The body was placed in the vault at Fern Dale Cemetery for burial there. ****transcribed by Bill Preston****
