About Richard Nagahiro
Richard Tamotsu nagahiro, 80, of Upper Deerfield Township died peacefully at home following a two year illness on Monday evening October 13, 2014 while surrounded by his family. The husband of the late Laye (nee Ikeda) Nagahiro, the Nagahiros had been married for 50 years at the time of Laye's death in 2009. He is survived by one son, Kurt G. Nagahiro (Monica), one daughter, Sherri L. Nagahiro, an adopted daughter, Susan Bierbrunner, one grandson, Jon Andrew Nagahiro, two sisters, Rose Norimatsu and Judy Nagahiro and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Yoshiharu and Chika Takaki Nagahiro. He was preceded in death by three brothers Yoshio, Gene and George Nagahiro and two sisters, Rose Norimatsu and Judy Nagahiro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Deerfield Presbyterian Church, Old Deefiield Pike in Upper Deerfield Township on Friday October 17th at 12noon where friends will be received from 11 until 12. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Deerfield Presbyterian Church, Attention: Ladies Outreach Program, PO Box 69, Deerfield Street, NJ 08313.
