About Qula Morrison
Qula Patricia Morrison passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 12, 2010 at the age of 79. Qula was born March 26, 1931 in Wilburton, OK to Ruth Gilliam and Alvin Cooper. She was raised by her grandparents, Rufus and Nancy Gilliam. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, she enjoyed crochet, embroidery, sewing, ceramics, and cooking and she attempted to knit. Qula married Fred Paul Morrison in 1946 and they had 4 children, 3 who survive her, Patricia Trine and husband, Daniel, Jerry Morrison and wife, Jan and Raymond Morrison and wife Lisa. Also 7 siblings, Duard, Donna, Joan, Carol, Gordon, Dennis and Jonathan, 10 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Fred Paul Morrison and Frank Lane, son, Richard Morrison, grandson, William Trine and 2 brothers, Wayne and Roger. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2010 in the Advantage South Chapel with burial at 2:00 PM at the Centerpoint Cemetery in Wilburton, OK. Under the direction of Advantage Funeral Service ~ South Chapel in Oklahoma City, OK. (Muskogee Phoenix)
