About Quirine Sherrington
Quirine Sylvia Kinate Sherrington, 95, of St. Joseph, formerly a longtime resident of St. Petersburg, Fla. passed away on Oct. 25, 2017, in Fishers, Ind.. Quirine, known as "Connie", was born to her parents George and Felicia Kinate on March 22, 1922, in De Pere, Wis., the fourth of eight children. She was the loving wife of 38 years to P. William "Bill" Sherrington, and caring mother to her four children. In addition to her commitment to her family, Connie was a dedicated employee and volunteer. Her favorite job was working as a bookkeeper for her eldest brother, Milton Kinate, at his milk plant in Forrest, Ill., in the 1940's. She also loved playing cards, especially bridge, and could often be found in a back room of a Kinate family gathering at the card table. She is survived by her brother, Walter Kinate; and her children and their spouses: Paul and Nancy Sherrington, Susan and Jeffrey Blankenship, Margot and Kirk Bogue, and George and Laurie O'Lear Sherrington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A graveside memorial will be held in the spring at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. The Herald Palladium, November 3, 2017
