About Quake Cox
Quake Jason Cox Resident of Boulder, Colorado Quake Jason Cox, 38, passed away on Friday April 27, 2012 in Boulder, Colorado. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on July 13, 1973, but was raised in Kansas City Kansas and attended college at Kansas University in Lawrence, KS. After college, he moved to San Francisco, CA with his band, Tin Mak, and stayed in California for the next 10 years. He loved music, traveling, and found friends everywhere he went. He would later live in Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado keeping in touch with all the good friends he had made. Quake enjoyed sports of all kinds and was a big fan of college basketball. He loved baseball, football and loved to go fishing. He was a voracious reader and always had a book handy. Later in his life, he enjoyed a lot of hiking and camping around Boulder, Colorado. He is the son of Joanne Cox of St. Albans, VT and the late William Cox of Kansas City, KS. Besides his Mother, he is also survived by two siblings: a brother, Joshua W.C. Cox of St. Albans, VT and a sister, Ashley R. Cox of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves behind one niece and four nephews and many other close family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, St. Albans, VT at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Albans, VT. Private messages of condolences may be sent to Quake's family on-line through www.bradyand levesque.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home and Commemorative Services.
