About Phyllis Dreesen Dillard
Dillard, Phyllis A. Dreesen Funeral services for Phyllis A. Dreesen Dillard, 82, of Jefferson will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007, in the Haggard-Heaster Chapel. Burial will be in Lockett Cemetery under the direction of Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home. Mrs. Dillard died Sunday, April 15, 2007, in Longview. She was born Aug. 2, 1924, in Chicago, Ill. to Rebecca Ruth Wilansky Rose and Frank A. Rose. Mrs. Dillard worked for the Texas Department of Human Resources for a number of years. After her retirement, Mrs. Dillard did volunteer work for local organizations. Survivors include her husband Jim Dillard of Jefferson; children, Lanny Dreesen of Spring, Jerry Dreesen of Jefferson, Judy Kauffman of Dallas, and Becky Weemes of Mobile, Ala.; step-daughter, Kathryn Kaufhold of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe Kaufhold, Jeff Dreesen, Jeremy Dreesen, Malachi Markos-Weemes, Merredith Jiles, Danny Weemes, and Jimmy Culver. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the funeral home. Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home Published in The Marshall News Messenger on 4/17/2007.
