About Peggy Vaden
Peggy Joyce (Box) Vaden was born on May 18, 1953 to J.C. Box, Sr. and Helen Irene (Griffin) Box. She passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at her home in Bonham, TX. at age 64. Peggy married Jackie on May 30, 1969. She worked at Jack’s Wholesale Meats in Trenton, TX for 16 years, at J&J Cut Rate Liquor in Ladonia, TX for 12 years. Peggy also had her cosmetology license and worked for Seven Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing styling and cutting hair. She was a loving mother, was a very outgoing individual and friend to everyone. Peggy loved working in the yard and watching hummingbirds. Left to cherish her memories are daughter, Angie Vaden of Bonham, TX; son, J.R. Vaden; sister, Linda Purser of Princeton, TX; grandson, Vaden Brownfield of Telephone, TX; extended family, Donna Glasscock of Trenton, TX; Debbie Elk of Denison, TX; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel Bonham, TX. Interment will follow at Randolph-Lindsey Cemetery.
