Pauline Ann Cox

Pauline Ann Cox, age 83, formerly of Almont, MI, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family, at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility (Suncrest) of Lapeer, MI. Pauline Ann Wolfram was born May 16, 1938 in Almont, MI. She is the daughter of the late Nicholas and Theresa (Popp) Wolfram of Allenton, MI. Pauline graduated from Almont High School in 1956. She was inducted into the Almont High School Sports Hall of Fame in 2017 for being a member of the 1954 Girls undefeated basketball team. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband, bingo and garage sales. Pauline married Bobby Joe Cox and they made their home in Almont for many years. Mr. Cox passed away in 2006. Pauline was employed for many years as a food service worker for Ford Proving Grounds in Romeo, MI. Before that, she was a bus driver for Almont Community Schools. She is survived by: her three daughters, Debra Wegner of Imlay City, Kimberly (Maria Simone) Wegner of Otisville, Karen (Ron) Ruzycki of Goodland Twp.; Five Grandchildren, Heather Moore, Crystal (Ed) Guererro, Nicholas (Jessica) VanDenBerg, Tifani (Sarah Teachey) VanDenBerg, Kristole (Adam) Hill.; her Great Grandchildren, Madison Lowe, Dominik, Aden, Isabelle, Ashton and Lucian Guererro, Abigail and Owen VanDenBerg, Brock, Roman and Vayda Hill, Addison Teachey. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. A Funeral Service will be held 11 am, Friday, May 13, 2022 at at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Interment will follow at West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton, MI. The family is available for visitation 2-5 & 6-8 pm, Thursday, May 12, 2022 and 10-11 am, Friday, May 13th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
