About Paul Maas
Paul Edward Maas, age 81, died Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Nazareth Health and Rehab in Stoughton. He was born on May 16, 1936 in Madison Wisconsin the son of Ralph and Ruth (Collins) Maas. He graduated from Brooklyn High School Class of 1954. He served in the United States Air Force Reserves from 1954 until 1962. Paul married Lillian Fry in 1956 and they raised five children together. In 1977 he married Fern Frame and they have celebrated forty years together. Paul was raised on the farm, milked cows and raised crops until his retirement. He then continued hobby farming raising Lama's and goat's along with some custom farming. He enjoyed tinkering with equipment and driving around checking out the crops while watching the crop duster's work. He was an avid pilot and loved to go flying in his ultra light plane he built which was one of many he had put together. He was a member of the Flying Farmers Association. He loved his dogs and would take them everywhere with him. He will be missed by his family and friends. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery Evansville. Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home, Evansville.
