Paul Ifft: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Pantagraph, The (Bloomington, IL) - Sunday, May 26, 2002 Deceased Name: Paul Ifft FAIRBURY - Paul Ifft, 97, of Fairbury, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday (May 25, 2002) at his residence. His service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, and for one hour before the service Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to OSF Franciscan Hospice or an organization of the donor's choice. He was born Feb. 17, 1905, in Forrest, the son of George Sr. and Margaritha Hari Ifft. He married Gertrude Hoerr on Dec. 18, 1930, in Pontiac. She died Aug. 3, 2001. Survivors include one son, Wayne (Nancy) Ifft, Overland Park, Kan.; one daughter, Alma Bolliger, Strawn; one sister, Edna Mueller, Fairbury; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, five sisters, one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Ifft was educated in Strawn schools. He was a farmer. He was a member of Christian Apostolic Church, Forrest.
