From Marshall Independent Oct. 13, 1976 page 8A Pat Haas died Thursday at the Douglas County Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, MN where he had been a hospitalized for 7 weeks. He was born Nov. 28, 1908 at Sleepy Eye, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Haas. He attended St. Mary's schools and was employed at the Haas Bakery, Sleepy Eye. He married Agnes Berden June 23, 1930 at St. Mary's. They operated the Haas Bakery of Minneota together from 1932-68. After retirement they lived at Lake Miltona, Minnesota. He is survived by his widow Agnes in Miltona; daughters, Mrs. Anton (Charlene) Callens and Patricia, both of Minneapolis; and Mrs. Richard (Michelle) Bailey of Stillwater, MN; nine grandchildren; brother Joseph of Sleepy Eye; sisters Mrs. Laura Lange of Worthington, MN and Mrs. Joseph (Agnes) Lux of Cosmos, MN.
