About Patricia Vail
Patricia E. Vail, 70, of Linden, died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospice. She had been a patient at St. Vincent Hospital for the past week. Born Dec. 30, 1938, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Maurice L. and Leona Pendleton Miller. She was a 1956 graduate of Linden High School. On Sept. 1, 1958, she married Harlan R. Vail in Linden, and he survives. Mrs. Vail worked for 54 years at Clark Truck Equipment in Linden, having retired in February. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Crawfordsville. Surviving with her husband are a son, Leslie R. Vail of Linden; and two brothers, Larry Miller (wife: Donna) of Pine Village and Jerry Miller (wife: Cindy) of Lafayette. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and 2 great-nieces. She was preceded in death by twin daughters at birth. Published Journal & Courier, Lafayette, IN
