Pascal F Iaderosa

Obituary for Pascal F. "Pat" Iaderosa Pascal F. “Pat” Iaderosa, 87, of Bradford, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 8, 1929 in Bradford, a son of the late Ben and Fanny Pascarella Iaderosa. He was a 1947 graduate of the former St. Bernard High School. In 1948 he enlisted in the U.S. Army; where he served in the First Infantry Division as part of the Army of Occupation of Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1951. On October 25, 1952 in the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church he married Loretta E. D’Amico who survives. He owned and operated the former Ben’s Restaurant in South Bradford for 25 years. He was then employed by W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery and the former Witco Refinery where he retired from in 1993. He was a 69 year member of the LaStella Lodge, a member of the American Legion Post 108 and the St. Bernard Catholic Church where he sang in the choir for over 60 years. He was also a retired member of the Mountain Laurel Harmonizers Barber shoppers. He volunteered for the Festa Italiana Committee and at the Bradford Regional Medical Center for more than 20 years. In addition to his wife of 64 years, Loretta Iaderosa of Bradford, he is also survived by two sons, Michael (Joyce) Iaderosa of Marietta, OH, Ben (Daisy) Iaderosa of Coral Springs, FL; three daughters, Patty (Dick) Colosimo of Bradford, Teresa (Dean) Kearney of Limerick, Diane (Steve) Kern of Marietta, OH; seven grandchildren, Celeste Colosimo of Pittsburgh, Richie Colosimo of Pittsburgh, Chelsey Colosimo of Los Angeles, CA, Patrick Murphy, J.J. Kearney, Elizabeth Murphy and Shannon Kearney all of Limerick; one sister-in-law, Mary Migaleddi of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Philip Iaderosa and one brother-in-law, John Migaleddi. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant. The LaStella Lodge will meet as a group at 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  Entombment and military honors will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
