Pamela Susan Quast

Pamela S. Quast, age 64 of Princeton, MN, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023, at M Health Fairview Northland in Princeton. Memorial Services for Pam will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Princeton with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton. Born to Eugene and Penny (Patchen) Quast on October 9, 1958, in Minneapolis, Pam was a loving sister and great friend, a passionate gardener, and an avid animal lover. In her career, Pam was an assembler and group leader at Honeywell, and she formed many strong friendships during her time there. Her unwavering support and love for her family were evident in the strong bonds she formed with her siblings. Pam was known for her determination and hardworking nature. This spirit carried through her entire life, as she was always active and eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. Pam's love for animals was indisputable. She dedicated her time to rescuing dogs through Underdog Rescue and fostered many dogs, providing them with loving homes. Pam also volunteered for many years at the Elim home playing dice with the residents and bringing her three dogs to visit them. She was often seen biking around with her dogs through Mark Park and in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton. Her compassionate nature did not stop there; she once took in a baby robin and nursed it back to health, showing her immense love for all creatures. Gardening was another of Pam's great passions. She took immense pride in her beautiful perennial garden, which was a testament to her nurturing spirit and green thumb. She kept their roots short and always moved her flowers, trees, and shrubs from place to place. Pam will be remembered for her loving nature, her beautiful smile, and her ability to make life more enjoyable for those around her. Pam is survived by her loving siblings, Michael Quast of Cedar, Micky (Dave) Mekosch of Ramsey, Kevin Quast of Barnum, Tim Quast of Princeton, and Paul Quast of Coon Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Quast; and sisters-in-law, Rebecca Quast and Diane Quast. As we celebrate Pam's life, we remember a woman who touched the hearts of her family, friends, and the countless animals for which she cared.
