About Ole Aasheim
Ole Aasheim, son of Lars and Britta Aasheim was born in Highland Township, Lincoln County. Gunhild M. Orstad was the daughter of Haldor and Betty Klat Orstad. Ole and Gunhild were married in 1912 and they started farming in Highland Township Section 16, just across the road from the homestead of Lars Aasheim. They were members of Lands Lutheran Church. They had seven children: Henry, Gladys Vander Meer, Lenore Monen, Alma Van Bockern, Esther Mydland, Lillian Hanson and Walter. All of them attended Highland Center District #7.
