About Odessa Johnson
Mrs. Odessa Johnson, 42, of 1053 Reese died 7:33 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 8, 1935 in Greenwood, Miss., she was a daughter of Otto and Ossie Mae Westbrooks Barcus. Her mother survives at Lima Towers, 790 S. Main. Other survivors include five daughters, Forestetta Johnson of 1059 Reese and Sara Lynn, Susan, Nora and Shirley, all at home; three sons, Larry, Forest Lee and Jeffery, all at home; a sister, Lorastine Bulliox of 502 S. Central; four brothers, Calmeze Barcus of Long Beach, Calif., Jim Barcus of Chicago, Evangelist John Barcus of 2680 W. Market and Otto Barcus of 406 S. Baxter; and two grandchildren. Arrangements are incomplete at Jones Brothers Mortuary. (published in The Lima News, Tuesday, December 13, 1977)
