About Odena Caswell
NCN 1/29/2016 Odena M Caswell, 78, formerly of West Pierrepont, died Jan. 27, 2016 at Maplewood Campus in Canton. Funeral service at the Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Canton. Burial in Beech Plains Cemetery. Odena was born Feb. 16, 1937 in Ogdensburg, daughter of Joseph and Walda Stiles. She graduated from Madrid High School and married Malcolm Caswell May 14, 1958. Malcolm died in 2001. She was a waitress and hostess for The Treadway and the University Inn, Canton, a waitress at the Canton Diner and worked for Newton Manufacturing Company. She is survived by three daughters, Vickie L Douglas Manning of Russell, Rhonda J. Rick Council of Garden Grove, Cal., and Lory D Richard and Troy Burchell of Canton; 10 grandchildren; Melanie, Lucas, Jamie and Sarah Manning, Tyson Council, Tara Hull, Briana McBride, Jerod Burchell, and Matthew, Richard and Mark Richard; several great grandchildren; one brother, Ray Stiles of Madrid; three sisters, Mary Jane Gies of South Berlin, Gloria Jarvis of Massena and Kathy Smith of Madrid.
