About Odelle Strickland
Funeral service for Odelle Hallmark Strickland will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in the chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville with Reverend Johnny Phillips officating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pineville under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mrs. Strickland, age 92 of Alexandria, entered eternal rest Sunday, January 9, 2005 in the Lexington House. She was a native of Atlanta, Louisiana. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Bentley. She was a homemaker. She was a member of The Home Demonstration Club and also a member of The WMU program. Mrs. Strickland is preceded in death by her husband, A. G. Strickland. She is survived by her son, B.J. Strickland of Osyka, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Lynn Dunn of Alexandria, Kay Stanford of Pineville, Bobby W. Strickland of Baton Rouge and Debbie Hunt of Kentwood; eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. till the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
