About Odell McCrary
Odell McCrary Oct. 15, 1922 - Dec. 30, 2006 Mrs. Odell McCrary, 84, of Huntsville passed away peacefully on Saturday at Windsor House Nursing Home. Mrs. McCrary's legacy will live on through her eight living children, Edna Rich, Hassie King, Willie McCrary Jr., Doris Higgins, Eddie McCrary, James McCrary, Earl McCrary, and Mazell Avery. One son, Lawrence McCrary, preceded her in death. She also leaves three sisters, three brothers, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Sykes officiating. The body will lie in repose for one hour prior to funeral time. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery. Nelms Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Huntsville Times - Friday, January 5, 2007
