ODA E. OVERBY KENEDY — Oda E. Overby, 92, of Kenedy, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1993. She was born March 31, 1901, in Green to the late Dee and Lillie Mae Hall Vickery. Mrs. Overby was a homemaker and Jehovah's Witness. Survivors: daughters, Marjorie Knight of Kenedy, Texie B. Odom of Kingsville, Neva Jean Jackson of Corpus Christi, Loretta Young of Stockdale and Bea Brockman of Beeville; sons, Kenneth Overby of Victoria and Craig Overby of Beeville; sisters, Sybil McDonald and Zora Grant, both of Kenedy, Bennalee Stewart of Canyon Lake and Ruth Salge of Robstown; brother, Blanton Vickery of Corpus Christi; and 16 grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Angelus Funeral Home, Beeville.
