About O. Rinehart
Services for O.C. Rinehart, Thomasville, are at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Dawson Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ramon Hernandez will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Randy Booker, Dudley Moore Jr., Mike Porter, Doug Fulgham, Carlton Parrish and Ken Hubbard. Honorary pallbearers are Dawson Street United Methodist Men, Men's Bible Sunday School Class and Golden K Kiwanis members. Mr. Rinehart died March 9 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 24, 1924, in Saluda County, S.C., he was the son of the late Willie and Jessie Rinehart. He was married to Nell Holden Rinehart, who survives. Mr. Rinehart was a veteran of the United States Navy Seabees. He was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. Mr. Rinehart was a member of Dawson Street United Methodist Church where he served in many capacities including Sunday School teacher, chair of Administrative Board, and various United Methodist Men offices. He was a member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club where he served as secretary for many years. Other survivors include daughters, Donna Wilson (Ron), Myra Coursey (Thomas); one granddaughter, Jessica Coursey; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. Memorials may be made to Dawson Street United Methodist Church, 1132 N. Dawson St., Thomasville, Ga. 31792. Allen & Allen Funeral Home .
